We made it here in six days! Our charity hitchhike was complete, now all was left was my favourite part of the journey - time to explore a new place!
From Tarifa we caught the ferry over to Tanger and then the train to Fes.
Personally, I have never been on a proper tour.
Yes, I've had in-country guides when I've been in a new country, didn't have much time and wanted to be shown everything quickly and efficiently. But this was a new experience for me. I've always been of the assumption that tours around a country are something elderly people do - oh, how wrong I was! Tours are fun, plus they are hassle free, bonus!!

Europe | Charity Hitch-hike Through France and Spain
Three Countries. Three Charity Hitch-Hikers. One Destination.
A few days ago I just landed back in England after a crazy two weeks travelling. As a student studying at an English University I was lucky enough to participate in an annual event carried out by undergraduate students from all UK Universities. This event was a charity hitch hike through Europe (France and Spain) to Morocco, there is also one which goes to Croatia but the group I travelled with opted for the former. In order to take part in the event the charity asks for a minimum donation of £375 towards Link Community Development which helps improve education in Sub-Saharan Africa. I travelled with one of my best friends from Uni and a guy from another Uni who needed partners to go with. We began our adventure in the south of England in the ferry port of Newhaven (near Brighton) to Dieppe (Northern France).
And so began the craziness...

England | A Meander to Bath and Stonehenge
Yes, I am English. And yes, I have visited both these historical places numerous times!
Currently my ventures around the world have been confined to my home country. Yes, not very glamorous. Admittedly, at first, I was fairly disappointed by this as I thought it would mean I could not tell great tales of voyages overseas on this blog, but I've slowly begun to realise that England can be just as much fun to explore! I really appreciate how interesting and cool my homeland on this tiny little island really is!
Lets find out I came to this conclusion by starting with Stonehenge.
So, you're thinking: cavemen. Ancient rocks. Pagans. Big deal!

First Year at University
This is predominately going to be an apology post on the lack of updates over January and February (great start to 2013, I hear you cry...). Like many bloggers, I have been inundated with Uni work and barely had a chance to talk to my own parents in the past couple of weeks, let alone type a few words (apart from those in essays and assignments).

Another one of those 'New Year, New Me' posts!
So we're all one week into 2013. I'd love to say what a wonderful, eventful week its been for me but unfortunately nothing much has happened. I have moved back down to my university town and trying desperately hard to beat procrastination and finish off the last few bits of uni work. So far I've read half of Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe, completed two thirds of my English language assignment and am yet to endeavour upon reading the mountain of books currently residing on my shelf. However, this week I have managed to: tidy and organise my room; watch re-runs of old TV programmes I love (Made In Chelsea); watch films and YouTube videos (FleurDeForce, Zoella, and DailyGrace to name[drop] but a few) and regularly update my twitter account with general musings and thoughts.
I have made many new years resolutions for this year and like many others, I plan to complete them and stick to them. So here's my list of things to be completed before the 1st January 2014:
